Terms of Warranty Service

I.Complete vehicle warranty – For X70, X70S, X90, X70 Plus & X90 Plus

Complete vehicle is warranted for 5 years or 150,000 km* (whichever comes first) with limited warranty on specific parts (defined in the table of contents) for 3 years or 60,000 km*/1year or 20,000km*/ 3 months or 5,000km*. The respective authorized General Distributor of JETOUR (“manufacturer”) is responsible for provision of the warranty, and it is valid from the date of sale, as per the manufacturer’s warranty terms and conditions.

First owner of the vehicle is eligible with Engine warranty of 10 years or 1 million km whichever comes first

III.Jetour Genuine Spare Parts Warranty

Spare parts warranty for the period of one year (12 months) or 20,000 km from the date of repair invoice is provided to genuine Jetour spare part that is purchased and installed at an authorized Jetour General Distributor.

The customer should provide an invoice for the purchased part and subsequent installation work in order to claim the spare part warranty.

Parts and components, which are replaced or installed under the scope of spare parts warranty, do not extend the existing spare part warranty nor initiate any new warranty.

Spare part warranty is subjected to aforementioned warranty terms and conditions for the vehicle warranty.

IV.General Warranty Exclusions

In general, the warranty coverage would not be provided if the defect or damage is caused by any form or type of external force or influence. Damage, which occurs due to following, is excluded from the warranty:

  • Motorsport
  • Accidents
  • Attachment parts/conversion parts without manufacturer authorization
  • Misuse and tampering
  • Use of non-Jetour Genuine parts
  • Repair conducted by non-authorized workshop
  • Performance modification or model changes
  • Exceeding permissible axle loads
  • Natural/environmental influences, e.g., flood, earthquake, sandstorm, hailstorm and any other natural disasters.
  • External influences on the vehicle, e.g., mechanical or chemical influences (such as paint, plastic or body damage caused by stone chippings, flash rust, industrial emissions, bird droppings) or other external events, damages by third parties, in particular theft and unauthorized use.
  • Usage of non-recommended or aggressive product for the care of exterior and interior parts and components.
  • Usage of non-recommended lubricants, fuel, fluids and refrigerant for air conditioning system.
  • Unsuitable vehicle care

V.Limitation in the Warranty coverage

  • Normal maintenance in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.
  • Wear & tear parts, which are subjected to natural wear & tear due to general operation.
  • Glass damage, if it is not clearly proven that there is manufacturing or plant installation fault. Particularly, breakage and scratch in the glazing.
  • The customer fails to immediately report/record a malfunction or damage; or failed to provide prompt opportunity for repair.
  • Refusal to rectify any fault and defect identified during a workshop visit. In such cases, the warranty is void for the concerned components and any consequential damages.
  • Consequential loss, damage or expense arising from any defect.
  • Repairs and failures due to damage, rust or deterioration as a result of prolonged or improper storage of an individual part or the vehicle itself

  • All adjustment work that is not specifically related to the warranty case
  • Maintenance or health check of Battery
  • Chassis alignment check
  • Resets in cases where no part is defective,
  • Balancing wheels & tires, aligning wheels, checking tire pressure,
  • Washer nozzle cleaning and adjusting
  • Function and Diagnostic checks including road tests
  • Checking, top-up and changing of oils and fluids
  • Cleaning fuel system including possible consequences
  • Adjusting parking brake
